Garden's by the Bay - March 2016 - Cherry Blossom (I)

Things settled down after 2 weeks of normalcy.  I had wanted to go GBTB the weekend before, but that did not materialize.  Finally we went on Good Friday holiday.

It was crowded, as expected.  Due to the crowd, the limited number of tress on display, and the indoor lighting, the photo styles are quite restricted - close up (single tree or single flower) and upward view (else you get a lot of people in the background).  Well, looks like got to go for the real stuff, to satisfy my flower craze.  Looking forward, but no near date yet..

(I) Bayfront MRT - playing with the mirrors.

(II) On the way.  Sunny is bad for staminal and comfort, but great for pictures.  Here's my fav of the day:

(III) In the flower dome.  Very interesting variety of cactus

(IV) Some temperate flowers, before the Cherry Blossom area

(V) The star attractions:

Gardens by the Bay - March 2016 - Cloud Forest (II)

It's always a relief whenever we visit the much cooler Cloud Forest after squeezing with the crowd at the Flower Dome.  Lynn (kids) prefer this dome, as she can walk down the track, and play with the mist.  I like it here too; the luscious green mountain feels very natural.
