Zoo in Jun 2012

Looks like my postings are going on an overdose of "animals", haha.

If it's not been 3 years, I think it had been at least 2 years since we last went to the zoo. I hinted very strongly to WK that during the June school holidays, when Lynn doesn't have class on Saturdays, I want to do some pre-planned activities rather than nuay at home. So on the first Sat, we went to the zoo.

Now that Lynn is older, this trip was more organized. We skipped the 1130 elephant show, so that we could watch the sea lion show at 1030 and then the dog show at Rainforest Kidzworld at 11. I remembered to bring a set of clothes for change in case Lynn wanted to play at the water park at kidzworld, but forgot the towel again. So we persuaded Lynn not to play at the water park, by offering her a pony ride.

The most memorable and enjoyable part of this trip was the Rainforest Experience. It is a big enclosure where quite many different kinds of animals are allowed to roam freely. Although the animals were close by, they seldom let us touch them. Except for a mouse deer that let Lynn stoke it. I love the beautiful butterflies there.

We reached the zoo before 10, and we left around 3. It was a great day. It will probably be a few years time that we will be back there again. And here's some pic, on Lynn mainly, haha..
