Reunion#1 - A busy weekend before CNY

It was a busy weekend for me, on 2nd Feb (Sat) and 3rd Feb.

On 2nd Feb, other than the usual weekend activities, I went grocery shopping for supplies for reunion dinner to be held at my house on the following weekend (9Feb).  After a busy day of lugging home bags of stuff and stocking up the fridge, we went to fetch Lynn from her class at 530pm.  I hinted very audible that it was our wedding anniversary that day (of course WK forgot), and that I didn't get a BD cake from the both of them during my Jan BD.  But we didn't eat anything expensive or romantic that night.  It was my choice; like I said, these things just isn't important after a certain age..  Instead, after our Mac dinner, we got a ice-cream cake for WS, cos I knew she was disappointed that she didn't get her BD cake a week ago (27 Jan was her BD).  After the surprise, the dry ice, the cake, we started our CNY deco preparation later than I planned.

On 3rd Feb (Sunday), I actually went to work.  This is because we plan to close our books early for the month, and most China sites were working on this day too.  WK was suppose to take care of Lynn after his bike ride, but because WK's mum wanted to go marketing that morning, I ended up taking Lynn to work.  It was again a morning full of activities; whenever I had pockets of time, I was busy doing my GM's CNY deco (which I took home to do as we didn't finish the night before).

We went to May's house for our first CNY reunion of the year at 2+pm.  I thought that since I'm quite useless when it comes to food preparation, I can be helpful in keeping the kids occupied with some handicraft work.  But the kids were not interested, so I ended up doing it (using ang bao do make 炮竹) myself.

Here's some photos for the day
After giving her a bath and change of clothes, I requested her to take some pics with me.  As usual, she didn't co-operate and did a koala..
