Created by Lynn herself:
What sticks on the wall and goes only forward? Clock
She copied symbols for each of the 26 alphabets from her Geromino book. Then she made a question and answer with symbols, and asked me to decode.
3) She drew, with glass deco colours, on a A4 piece of paper. I gave her a art-block paper (A3), asked her to paste her work in the middle (so that it is not so flimsy). Then I gave her patterned papers to make borders around the edge. This is the end result
4) She made this, but I don't know what it is or what it means.
5) This week is PSLE marking week, so she doesn't have school. She asked me to make a timetable for her to spend her time. One of her activity is to learn how to cook (i) fishball (ii) maggi mee and (iii) steam egg from Popo. On Monday night, she showed me 3 recipes that she wrote while learning how to cook from her Popo that afternoon. I didn't ask her to take down notes; she did that out of her own initiative.
6) Simple cross stitch. She did half a side of the light pink heart on Tuesday. I got to do quite a few corrections for her.
7) Last weekend, she used water to "draw" on the wardrobe door.

the recipes are very cute!
Reading through this post reminded me of myself when I was in the age of pre-school, I wasn't as smart as Lynn coz I couldn't read yet but I was quite talented in doing handicraft. I was already knitting and sewing and most of the time I was able to do a craft after watching the TV chidren programme 小白船。
I would suggest you let her learn Chinese calligraphy, it helps in training her focus and patience and once she develops her interest, she can write it for hours, it can kill her time too.
