Haha I'm fast in reading this post!
I don't like plant at all until I did my first terrarium. It is quite fun and you get a sense of satisfaction after seeing your creation.
I'm conducting courses for my residents and colleague on different types of terrarium, if you're interested I can do a simple one for you and the kids.
This is a good project for the kids too, good for them to understand the ecosystem.
