"New kid on our block"

I blogged about my neighbour with 5 kids (4 girls and a boy) a few times before. When they first moved in a few years back, Faith (#3) was a cute 4 year old who was closest in terms of age to Lynn (Lynn's one year younger than Faith). Carrin (#4) was only a baby then. Then to our surprise, Mrs U was pregnant again. #5 is a boy, Joachim, who is now about 1 yr 4 months old.

Over the past few years, the girls came over to our house to play once in a while. At first it was only the 3 older girls. Soon, Carrin followed her sisters and ventured into our house. Today, Joachim came in for the first time.

I am not as fortunate as Mrs U to have so many kids. Still I count my blessings. I just feel happy for all my friends who have kids, be it 1 or 2 or 5, for being able to enjoy the joy. It's fun to see these kids play and grow up together. The hard time will pass, so for my friends who are still struggling with their young kids now, JIA YOU!
