Lynn wanted a nerf gun set she saw at BHG toy section since the beginning of this year. I causually agreed to buy for her as a birthday gift, thinking that she may change her mind as the months go by. However, she didn't, so finally towards late sept, when there is a 20% discount storewide, I bought it but hide it and told her that she can only have it on her birthday. Last week, I agreed to let her have it on Wed (which is tomorrow), which is the day her exams will end. Then over the weekend, we decided that we will play "solve the riddle to find your present" game!
I made 3 riddles. Solving riddle one will lead her to the hiding place of riddle 2, which is the fridge. Solving riddle 2 will lead her finding riddle 3 in the piano chair. Finally, solving riddle 3 will lead her to her present which is placed behind the door of my mum's room! Took an hour doing this, hope she will have fun and have fond memories of het 8th bd!

Awwwww.. A big thumb up for the self-made riddle (and of course the whole preparation you had there..) It must had been a memorable day for Lynette. I am feeling touched...May be I was brought up in quite a tradition family without my mum since early age.. All these seem like a big fantasise event to me (haa, the little girl inside me, so easy to be pleased...) I've got to mark this down as one of my important future to do list items.
